I found it in the adventure menue after searching for some time. It's the third (or so) button. Way to complicated to find. The local MP could be better in my opinion, I don't like fighting for points in the finale. Playing the normal Golf modes would be way more fun.

You have the daily challenge for that. :)
Or even better, try to beat the game with the least amount of shots. :P

I'm still confused. Where is the 2 player mode? Why is it so hard to find?

You need to scroll down in one of the menues.

Cheers. The problem was I didn't know I was in the right mode because I couldn't see that you had to shoot yourself out of a pipe and both get to the flag to start the game. Overly complicated.
