Missing cufflink bug

I told the purser I would find Strauss' cufflink. I spoke to to Seidelmann who said that Strauss had been sitting on the chairs at the foot of the stairs earlier. I checked a youtube playthrough and the cufflink that's supposed to be on the left seat isn't there.

Anyone else have the same issue?

No it worked for me just fine. I did two complete walkthroughs of the game. I am not sure if there are any other dependencies for the ring to be here. I followed the following online walkthrough which worked well for all aspects of the game.

@buttamuffien did you ever find out how to fix this? Just ran into the same thing. I can see there’s a place for it on the chair like the background of the cushion is slightly distorted, but the texture /object for the cufflink is missing. Can’t click it, restarting the game and reopening the save file didn’t help.

You may have to talk to Siedlemann or the Strauses before you can actually pick up the cuff. For it to appear that is.

I'm having the same issue. I talked to Seidelmann but I still can't get the cufflink. I think it might be because I haven't talked to the Gorse-Jonses, but I haven't run into them at any point in the game!

I may have figured out the answer, for me at least: I hadn't specifically asked the purser if I could find the cufflink for him. After I did that, it appeared.

In my situation I think my save file was corrupted. I loaded an earlier save and played through, and then cufflink appeared where it was supposed to.
