Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time

My Dad Made This Game
Hi, my dad, who owned Cyberflix essentially made this game, I have exclusive items from the game, and though he is quite confused to why it is on steam, I think it is very cool. Idk how to prove my dad is my dad, but if you want some I'm sure I have it. We have debated turning this into a mobile game but my dad is busy. Nonetheless if you have any questions regarding the game, especially lore related. I am more then happy to pester him for answers, anyway thats all.

this is really cool about him being your dad. i originally played this on disc i bought from walmart in like... '99? im happy to have found it again! now that im an adult and can understand the actual story line and what im supposed to be doing, i hope to finally finish the game!

It's a shame I can't say the same. This game is fantastic and I've already finished it when I played it in the 90s, fully translated by a company here in Brazil, but unfortunately, even though I have the original discs in Portuguese, they don't run on recent versions of Windows. I can only do it by emulating them in DOSBOX, but I really wanted to play it here on Steam, but the developers' laziness in including translations in several languages, which already exist (there would be no need to translate anything) in the game prevents me from doing so. If I had known that I wouldn't be able to play it with translation, I wouldn't have bought the game. Now it's too late. Only English speakers can play it. What a shame. Numerous negative points for those who released the game on Steam.
Leo Felix, why dont you try reaching out to GOG? Maybe someone there can create an optional patch that enables the Brazilian Portuguese translations, provided that someone extracts it and sends to them.

Give it a try. In the worst case scenario they wont respond, or simply say NO.
i used to play this game with my brother i think in 2006 or 7 but yah it was fun asf
Did he share any stories about his time working on this game? :steamhappy:
Oh .... man. Tell you dad he has my sincerest gratitude for making this game - as a lover of history and of Titanic in particular, giving us a chance to explore the ship and live a fascinating story inside it in the 90s, with the technology as it was at the time .... it was nothing short of a dream coming true.

And, would like to ask him a question if possible. Is he aware of the "Honor & Glory" team and the recreation of Titanic they've made ? Would he ever consider the possibility of a remake of the game using that recreation of Titanic ( which is very realistic ).

Thanks again!!

Good afternoon! I wanted to reach out to you regarding your Dad. I grew up in Knoxville, and the father of one of my best friends at the time, owned and ran a deli style restaurant in Market Square, directly below your Dad's office upstairs. He talked to some of his employees often, and was able to get me a walkthrough tour one day. I still remember walking in and the person at the front was confused why I was there and said they don't do tours. I ended up getting a tour, but honestly do not remember the name of the man who took me around. I do remember seeing a cardboard cut out, like a store display you would see when new stuff comes out back then, that was full of boxed copy games. He told me about RedJack that was coming soon and gave me a demo CD. He even told me how to get past a part of the game I was stuck on. I would call sometimes after that if I really got stuck or wanted to talk about the game. Really cool people and nice guys. please thank you Dad for me. Tell him I said that was back when people actually put heart into their games and cared about what the players thought! And the devs were cool people just like everyone else. His Dad's name was Tom Hudson, but he passed years ago. If that rings any bells for your Dad.

Your dad is Bill or Todd Appleton? Lol, sure, whatever.
Idk how I *could* prove it, but seeing that he lives with me I do have proof. This game is a common discussion at dinner, and this community has sent countless of emails regarding revamping the game, and its something hes genuinely considering

Well, I have to give you credit and reps, you actually proved you are not full of it, damn impressive. Now, the next question is, how much do I have to give your father for that poster? And yes, I am being serious. Name his price and it will be proudly protected and displayed for decades to come with my Titanic collection.
