Unofficial Patch for TAOOT

Hi all,

Just to let you know there is an unofficial patch that fixes some the problems with the steam and gog versions of this game.

Anyone who is a member of the THG Discord will already know of it, but here is a link.

The authors name on the discord is MeTox they clearly love this game and are working hard to make it as playable on modern systems as it was back in the day.

fix that by setting cpu core affinity to 1

I don't suppose they can kludge in a game resolution selector of some kind?

I just decided because I paid for it (I own the CD-ROM of it still as well) I took that as permission to go set up the DOS-BOX launcher version of this game. It's super simple, didn't crash, and has the ability to upscale 3x which is nice compared to the Steam and GOG version having 0 options for resolution or scaling.

Thank you so much.This should be a Sticky. I've just tested the turning right low-res bug and the grand stair case door bug and it worked falwlessly. You know any way to thank the creator of the patch(i dont use discord)?

I get no colours... game starts in black and white.. a blurry black and white...

I'm having this exact same issue right now, when this game worked just fine six months ago.

I just updated my guide on how to fix that. My new method is much better. As mentioned, you need to set the processor affinity to 1. Hope it helps.

for some bizzare reason after i install the patch random there are random flashes of color when i turn right.
