Why does Team Sonic Racing not have full controller support?

Hey,
why does a game like Team Sonic Racing not have full controller support? A game like this should have Controller support...

Here you can see: The previous game "Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed" had full controller support. It is possible for me to play "Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed" via Steamlink and Bluetooth controller on the TV. However, Team Sonic Racing does not support this function.

For a game like Team Sonic Racing it should work.

For most games I am not a fan of controllers, and prefer to play with mouse/keyboard. But with Team Sonic Racing, playing with controllers via Steam Link should work.

Probably just mislabeled. Maybe they misunderstood what partial controller support means.

At least Steam complains in "Big Picture Mode" via Steam Link that the game has no controller support. I tested it anyway with my PS4 controller, which I connected to my Android TV via Bluetooth to play with the Steam Link App.
Keyboard icons (overlay) were displayed everywhere (press enter to start, etc). I couldn't play because there was no key to speed up.

With "Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed" it's different. There everything works perfectly with controller. InGame I get the icons from the Xbox Controller, but that's no problem. The game can be operated perfectly with this Controller. But Team Sonic Racing unfortunately not.

Maybe the developers just need to change a setting on Steam. I would be glad if this is adapted :)

I have tested with Xbox controller and it works just fine. So I think it's a miss labled.
