Legendary Parts
Does anyone know if legendary parts do anything special? Or is it purely cosmetic?

The stats are exactly the same as the original version. So it's gotta be to show oFF the colour gold.

You sure? I was wondering if it was like Mario Kart 8, where parts appeared to have the same stats, but there were tons of hidden stat bonuses that didn't get shown.

Stats are the same as the non legendary version. Not played enough with both parts to see if there is anything hidden but almost sure there isnt as a few of us have already started to datamine the files for anything cool. :D

I have no idea if any hidden stats exist or what they even could be if they did.

I'm confident that they are entirely cosmetic versions of their "ordinary" counterparts. I'd hate for the stats to be further complicated by unnecessarily hidden upgrades.
