Daredevil challenges are doable and the platinum medal can be achieved even with some small minor mistake.

Points are gained by how close you drift towards the pole without hitting it. If you simply hit the red circle you aren't actually getting much done other then stacking the bonus. But that's useless if you're only getting 30 points instead of 150.
Don't forget the stunt where you can, and stacking boosts is a bit harder in this game then in SaASRT.
Edit: Also the things that can be done in online are intense. Check up on some world record time attack runs or watch some pro lobby tournys in this or SaASRT to see what I mean. The challanges are there for a proper reason. This isn't mario kart.
Sounds like you have your foot down permanantly. Tap off/on accelerate in order to handle some corners a lot easier. The instant reduction in speed will help you smash corners.
It's also worth noting that although it's easier to get more points with the nose pointed towards the pole, the game doesn't care if your angle is reversed, which can help a lot with some corners.
Also don't forget to drift switch by tapping the drift button and alternating direction. This can be done indefinently and correct timing of this technique can hold your boost and keep your character going straight. Perfect for both going fast and lining up your angle for the next drift. Hope this helps.
But as I said, I found the perfect balance with rouge enough that I did ALL challenges with her.
Can you please suggest a video?
For SaASRT please see this guide for runs.

For TSR you can find many TA runs in the Video Hub for this game.

I agree with most of the points stated by others above :
1. Pick a character with good speed and a fair amount of handling.
2. Always go for the red circles/gates if possible for additional point multiplier.
3. Stay as close as you can to the pole while still drifting (no additional point if going through the circle/gate without drifting).
4. Do switch-drifting repeatedly to maintain a straight line better.
5. Stack as much drift boost as you can in-between the poles, particularly if the gap is long.
6. Keep practising!
