Does STR have a 2 player split screen coop story mode like how mario kart has a 2 player coop Grand Prix mode??

Any reason you're comparing story mode with Mario kart's grand prix when this game also has a grand prix?

The best way to experience the story mode is with 2 friends for the full team experience.

The AI is pretty disappointing.

Yeah, that's the reason I was thinking buying it. Like you state, there the most fun when playing with a friend. I dont play games like these solo cause the real fun is teaming up and winning together.
I watched a Youtube video of the game being played in solo story mode and was initially turned off from buying it cause I noticed that there were only 6 racers counting yourself in the game. But, when I started to watch part 2 of the video, I noticed that after the first world dr. Robotnic and other characters join the race and up the amount of racers so that caused me to reconsider. I dont care about online racing at all, I'm just interested in the coop split screen mode.
If the AI is a let down, I'm curious as to how well it will keep my interests considering that the only kart game I'm used to playing is the one I mentioned above.
Without playing the compare game and keeping this post on the game what's your opinion?? Is there a good challenge?? How many worlds does the game have?? Can you increase the difficulty?? Thanks.

Want to buy it just for split screen coop so not really concerned about oline. So, I'm still needing an answer on the coop story mode please. If there isnt a coop story, it was mentioned that there is a Coop Grand Prix. Is the coop Grand Prix same as story mode or something diff?

Okay, finally found answer and does have coop story mode call " Team adventure Mode" . I'll wait for this game to go on sell then snag it up. Looking forward to playing it
