Linking account from browser to Steam

I have an existing account that I sign into through my browser, but would like to use it on steam. I can't seem to figure out how to login though steam. When I enter my email, it just tells me the account already exist. There's nowhere to put in my password. Is it possible to link the account into Steam?

BUMPING THIS POST SINCE LOOKING FOR SAME ANSWER BUT REVERSED. PLAY ON STEAM AND WANT TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY THAT ACCOUNT ON ANDROID APP

1 - Send link (to link account) to your email
2 - Install the game on Steam
3 - Launch the game on Steam
4- In the log in screen (at the bottom), enter your username (not the Email) + Password + press Play
5 - Enjoy !

Did it this morning and it work (I play on browser + on the Android APP + on Steam now).
