Anyone else had the game removed from their library

So i bought hitman 2 gold and got this game with it i downloaded booted it up and played it then i decided to play it yesterday but couldnt as it now says purchase instead of play. I can play my copy of Hitman 2 though.

Anyone else had this happen.

The problem is the game file are seperate so if we uninstall sniper challenge (because it says we dont own it instead of saying play) or if something happens to the PC and we cant download it again because its been ripped out of our libraries...how are we supposed to play it in Hitman 2 since we wont have the files?

Im assuming the game is pulling the files from the sniper challenge dir which is different from the hitman 2 dir.

Nope sniper challenge is just another game mode of hitman 2 glacier engine which we have fully installed in the hitman 2 directory you can launch the game direct from there its just the progress has been reset because the game sniper challenge no longer exists in the steam library as a separate game, and the files we have downloaded for the separate game is useless and needs to be deleted. IOI should of explained it better to us and found a way to trigger an uninstall prompt or just activated it as a game mode from the hitman 2 launcher on startup but i guess they didnt want ppl getting the full game downloaded and then spend the rest of the time trying to hack it so they could play the full game before launch

i also got that happen but you can just play it when you open up hitman 2
