So is HITMAN 2 supposed to be HITMAN's season 2?

Yes, it comes in 6 Episodes the first 1 is Miami

Well, yeas and no. There would be no episodic system - everything's available from the start, but it is a direct sequel. So more Shadow Client and Providence.

The game is a continuation of HITMAN.

The game is not 'season 2' because it is coming as a singular release thanks to the new publisher.

The story of what happened in HITMAN will continue. Miami is not the first location. The first location is Columbia.
