what are the best rifles/smgs?

what are some good or the best guns for normal fights , not snipers or shotguns , just the best normal rifle/smgs

Short answer: AUG A3/OTs-14/M4-ACC/AK47/TAR-21 for ARs, MP5>rest for SMGs

i tested the guns formyself and i like the m4 acc , what perks should i use with it?

Perks to consider are quick aim/balance, marathon/double time, long ears(especially useful).
I personally use quick reload, double time and assassin.

Perks are mostly a matter of personal preference so just try them out and find what works for you the best.

Also quick shot sight and precision barrel/suppressor are generally the attachments you wanna go for.

I wouldn't consider balance for anything but snipers, as it doesn't reduce recoil, only sight/scope sway.

If you want to be a boring metaslave run OTs or AUG with detecting sight and suppressor, if you're half decent you'll get 30+ kill tdm games 8/10 times.

whats the best way to farm the weapon levels for that? the equipment parts you mentioned take kinda long

The single player EMP mission, buy EMP bullets for 1 day and do the mission over and over again, only kill with the weapon you want to level though. Either that or just play normally with the weapons because they really don't need the attachments to be good, on their own they're already stupid good but those are the best attachments. If you want to use smg's just run an mp5 btw.

For SMG, vector is good. Rate of Fire is 100. Fastest gun in the game. For rifles, AK 47 or Tar 21.

I'd say almost the whole rifle & smg list is great. Really depends on your play-style, if you're a bodyshot guy or you can land hs a lot.

If I had to pick a top 5 though I'd say;
Rifles :
1. G3
2. K2C
3. Type 89
4. M4
5. ARX160

SMGs:
1. MP5
2. MP7
3. LWRC 45
4. AR-57
5. Vector.

But that's for my play-style.

I definitely think ak-47 could take #6, It hits hard and the recoil just guides you to the head. Puts you at a slight disadvantage when the opponent peaks over objects on distance tho. Also enemy prone and quick crouches can throw you of a little. Only reason its that low on the list tbh.
