Game Breaker Bug: Comittee Archive

Upon getting to the terminal to find out what boxes need to be broken into, the stairs that lead up and down on either side have invisible walls in place. Not sure if the devs did this to block people from going too far into the story, or if it's an actual map bug. Cannot get to either up or downstairs boxes. Mission cannot be completed.

Furthermore it refuses to allow me to ride the elevator back up to the top for some odd reason. It keeps making me fall through the elevator as it goes up. Thus, I am stonewalled again.

This is the global problem of this version of the game, this bug is for everyone. The developer promises to fix everything soon.

Note: Was able to force my way up in the elevator. Took a few tries, but was able to roll around to keep from falling through. Thus allowing me to make it to the game exit and leave. Upon comming back and going back down the elevator, the stairs are still "Blocked" halfway up on both sides (Where the statues are). There's plenty of room for a person to pass by on the stairs but, alas, it's more blocked than my guts on taco night.

Sorry for digging this up again, but will this bug be addressed in the upcoming next patch ?
The news doesn't exactly cover this perticular bug, it is referring to the elevator issue instead.

As a 2nd question to the players: has anyone been able to finish the archives ?
Probably by not loading while inside, or doing things in a peticular order, or what ever mojo works ^^

I managed to get the documents and back to the Captain Riebel but there is no option to chat with!

Playing now to see if the issue with Captain Reibel happens to me as well.

UPDATE: Okay so I was able to talk to the Captain, however I did finish the Thel storyline beforehand and thus got to talk to Tanbere who informed me to talk to the Captain about the quest Boiling Point, in the same dialog line you can talk to the Captain about What Is The Price of Freedom and continue on.

If you haven't done the Thel story arc yet, doing so may unlock him being allowed to be talked to.

ok, how did you get there record for Thel?

Talk to the Antique Dealer. he sells it. If he doesn't have it, travel around for an ingame day and then go back to him and his stock should refresh with the proper item. Looks like old school track tapes.

UPDATE: Warning! When you get out of the comitte and do all the talking to go to the Water Treatment Facility, there is a couple of bugs.

1: The doors to the third floor sometimes do not open or the door with Skyther doesn't.
2: When exiting the Water Facility, you haveto wait for the Captain and Skyther to come out (Assuming you passed the documents to Skyther for the next branch). I ended up with two Captain Reibles and two Skythers. And it can be weird to get them to say the correct lines after fighting the Comittee guy in a bigass showdown.
3:When you finally get your...four companions to talk... exiting D-106 ends in a fatal error. Happened 6 times in a row and I wonder if it is tied to the duplicate Captains and Skythers....

All three issues submitted via bug report link. Hopefully this will get fixed ASAP as it's a major halter to the game.

dont worry the quest after that is bugged so you go ten mins before you get a door that wont open on vultures nest
