Prophet's ascent - how to?(Bea Kera quest to attack Morakh)
First of all, is this supposed to happen in the Morakh Fort in D-106? If so, I'm screwed so far.
So as usual, the game shows that it is pointless to build a character with anything other than armor and guns maxed out, because it appears I have to solo fight against the bunker at the entrance inside. The guy inside has an MG200 that has a higher range than my T-6 rifle, so I'm gunned down while aiming. Oh joy. What is the damn point of having a stealth/hacking/maintenance character if you cannot use those skills in a major quest and are always forced into Rambo style combat?

I have no points in combat. I did this part of the mission by taking pop shots at him until his health is low enough to trigger the turrets. As soon as his window started closing I immediately started throwing grenades. This process repeats again after his health gets critical. After the 3rd turret a few more pop shots and he was down.

Damn, sounds like a slog. I was kinda hoping that I was at the wrong location. Because I've played the Morakh side, and that was easier, storming the Bea Kera base with plenty of support.

I tried running to the side entrance after the window closed, and shot the gas cylinders inside to kill him, succeeded too, but health was too low by then and the turrets got me.

The turrets are easier to deal with if they don't pop collectively. There are 3 and 2 pop if he's low on health. I suggest trying to snipe him out (stand up and wait for your crosshair to come together and shoot). That way the 2 turrets will trigger and you should be able to duck behind the junk cover to lob a grenade over.

Again, I have no combat skills lol they're all in my character skills like computers, scammer, and mechanics.

Side note: your companion(s) will still give you the benefits if you don't have them near you. I know mine like to hide for half the fight then randomly appear lol

I chose to let them remain at Vulture's nest, because of losing them permanently during big missions thanks to their popping up randomly elsewhere surrounded by enemies.
