Audio Issues: Music
Came back to game hoping audio issues would be fixed. Tried multiple different settings in game menu. Even tried adjusting Windows audio settings, Logitech settings, nothing adjusts the music volume from blaring over the voiced portions of the game.

Games with stories that have ANY voice acting, for me, it's important to be able to hear the voice acting. During the "test our friendship line" in the Prologue ending, I had to reload the scene five times to hear even that much over the overwhelmingly loud music that was washing out the voice actor. Keep in mind, in these scenes, there are no subtitles.

Would love to play and offer a positive review, once this is addressed. Until then, it's a none starter for me.

Yeah, forget about this game. I pointed out the bug multiple times, in the last patch they stated this is fixed ... but it isn't. There is also a thread with a large number of verified bugs which the moderator didn't even reply to. They f-ed the game up pretty much and I lost any faith in the developers. I mean ... weeks and weeks where you see no progress, the patches feel way to small for the vast amount of bugs and they need weeks to months to release them ... nah, they released the game with bugs that hit you so hard in the face while playing the first hour, there can't even be ANY qm at all ...

We really try to fix it. But our team is too small for a quick solution to all problems. Sorry for the long wait.
Now we transfer the game to a new engine. It should solve a lot of problems.

Do someone knows now how to fix this issue?
I have the same "loud music/audio" bug :s

Some ambient tracks do not depend on the volume of the music, but on the volume of the effects of the environment. So if you want to hear the steam hiss and the doors clang, you have to endure the music.
Sorry. We tried to break this bundle, but got a very bad result.

It's quite sad :(
I'm forced to put this sound slide to 10-15% in order to hear the other sounds :/

Could you perhaps reach out to the community for two separate audio files? One for the steam sound effects and separate one for the music, so that you don't have them combined and running as sound effect?

What do you mean? Do you want a separate soundtrack in order to understand the meaning of what was said in the video?

What it sounds like was being described, was that the special effects for the area (the specific audio file) happened to ALSO contain music in it and there fore could not separate Music Volume from sound effects due to this. What I was suggesting is that, if that was the case, see if the community had any sound effects tied to the desired environment sounds the dev team wanted, and stop using the combined audio file that is overwhelming peoples audio due to inability to turn down the music that is running as a sound effect.

If you can't modify the sound system, at least add subtitles ^^

I, too, can't hear what they are telling without turning env sounds to 0 and upping regular sound to "FUULLL POWWWEERRR" xD
