Multiplayer after GameSpy closure

Customers can use a third-party software called GameRanger to keep playing the game online. Please visit www.gameranger.com and download the tiny client, run it and add the game to your GameRanger library (if it wasn't auto-detected already). Then you can connect with other players and play multiplayer online. You don't need a CD key.

Hello Scott (GR)!

I was trying to play MoW today with a friend with GameRanger, but didn't work.
We created a bronze GR account and we tried/started both a host game of MoW, nothing worked for me.
Normally the game started as i joined friend's game. But then only a normal game menu came (singleplayer, LAN, internet and so on). I went to LAN but there was nobody only me in the lobby. Tried also to make a direct IP-check inside game options menu, again in LAN only me.
Which text or whatever should come if i join a game?
Simply the game starts, but there is no LAN-party !
Portforwarding or what?

Okay so i took Gameranger off my pc AND I'M STILL GETTING THE BLOCK TERMINATOR EXPECTED! It even mentions Gameranger which is no longer on my pc...Screw this game if it won't work i won't even bother i already put a hundred hours into it.

Neither the developers nor the publishers had anything to do with MoW's servers being shut down. GameSpy was shut down by Glu because Glu wanted their developers to focus on their stupid mobile games.

I think the developers of the game are in charge of porting servers.
