When it comes to saving the game, I recommend saving often and keeping multiple save files because you can encounter a "hidden" dead end when the game may continue for a day or two before you eventually see the Game Over screen. The easiest saving strategy I can think of is saving at the end of each day, always into a new slot (use Save Slot 1 at the end of Day 1, Slot 2 after Day 2, etc.). Once you reach the end of one week (the calendar displays Day 8, Day 16, etc.), you can replace the older saves (save on Slot 1 on Day 8, then Slot 2 on Day 9, etc.).
Also, if you were going to try getting a perfect rating on each date (5 hearts), I recommend saving on a separate slot at the beginning of each date because the rating is affected by your choices during the date.
super sad. Ruri is ultra cute, and Mallory may be my favorite girl so far. Cassie and Iro are lucky she's not in Hush Hush!
So it's the start of week 2, and no one died yet! yay! (don't tell my other save files that though...i've already got 2 game overs, boo.)
I was wondering if the jobs advance like they did in CC, where you get a new title and better pay? or are they always the base salary and don't have much to do with the game choices?
Edit: also, just to be clear, there's no "ending up with" one of the girls, right? HH is all about completing the quest and saving the girls, not about marrying them, right? or have i got it twisted?
Im not gonna spoil any endings so not gonna tell you :P
There are two conditions you have to meet in order to be able to choose any one of the five girls.
First, you must not have any dark karma. That means - do not ever choose to skill up any of the bottom skills (hacking, violence, etc.). Also, do not kill any side characters if you are given the option to do so. Killing any character will give you hidden dark karma points, thus ruining your chance to choose a girl in the end.
Second, you need to reveal all of your favorite girl's secrets within one playthrough to be able to choose her in the end. That means if, for example, you found all secrets from Iro and Cassie, but missed some secrets for Quill, Elle, and Mio, (and have no dark karma on top of it), you will only be able to choose between Iro and Cassie (you could also choose neither).
If you finish the game with no dark karma and at least one girl with all secrets revealed in that playthrough, Mystic the Fortune Teller will meet you at the airport (on your way home; on day 31), and he will offer you to alter the timeline, letting you return home with one of the five girls. You can only choose between the girls who told you all five secrets. If you manage to reveal all secrets from all girls in one playthrough, you will be able to choose between all five girls. You can only choose one at a time, but if you save the game right before choosing a girl to go home with you, then you can easily read each of the girl's dialogues by keeping loading the same save point.
loving the notepad that keeps track of all my dates; if that wasn't a feature, i surely would overbook them A LOT.
crazy stuff. i'm here for it though.
unfortunately, i got a late night visit from Detective Fumi. immediately after getting home that night. apparently, Iro went out the same way she lived, swimming with those dang sharks and i have to go backwards a couple of days to figure out what i did wrong. TBH, i'm not a fan at all of delayed failure triggers like this (you mean to tell me that the goddesses couldn't just telepathy me that day to say i broke the threads of fate, i had to wait until three dates later to figure out i screwed up?) but hey, maybe next time i can A+ that evening with Cassie.
Catch you later!
Mallory's hair tie is on a poster in Mio's room. i feel like i found an easter egg, yay!
the apparent bug is that on the fourth date week, i tried dating Iro, and when i agreed to date her on the 23rd, the date never happened (i was double booked with Cassie, since Mystic said i can't reschedule Cassie that week), but characters talk as though the Iro date did happen (sans picture and secret and DATE, most importantly...) Did i actually have a bug happen, or any clue what would be going on?
i noticed this because if i asked Iro to reschedule on the 23rd, she just goes out and gets eaten by sharks instead of actually rescheduling, but when i double-booked the winery date on the 23rd, the game seemed like i actually succeeded. weird, right?
one minor complaint about Quill's 4th date: when you take off her cat ears, her appearance does not change during the date. the CGI doesn't even reflect this choice, either! it's really unfortunate, as that is such a big moment for her. poor girl needs a few extra sprites, please!
