18+ PATCH WILL NOT PLAY WITHOUT INTERNET!

Good morning all! This might seem like a non issue for most but I am a submariner and as such could not enjoy this content on deployment. Respectfully request if anyone knows of a workaround for the next time I inevitably deploy.

Internet works just fine on a big deck (target). If you start steam in offline mode, does it just refuse to work?

Did you buy the 18+ patch here on Steam, or are you using the Panda Pass?

If you use the Panda Pass, that unfortunately won't work offline, since that is recorded on a server, and it needs to be able to download the extra data on-demand anyway. But I think it should work if you use the Steam DLC.

If you *did* buy the DLC here and it does not work, then I would recommend writing to support to hear if they have any advice, because it'll be easier for them to assist you that way.

Try using Steam Offline mode (Steam -> Go Offline...) and see if it works.

Try sending an email to support at sad panda. If you explain your situation, they might be able to hook you up with something to help in your case. I find their support staff to be exceptionally kind and understanding.

Some Countries(Like Germany) Have Laws that force steam to hide it for you

I also have both problems, I was so happy to get the r18-stuff despite Steam not selling it in my country, but I just get it while online.
Even worse, the r18 and non-r18 safes are not compatible, so I can not open my safefiles.
In Crush-Crush this is no problem, here I can aces the r18 content offline AND If I open the game without the pass, I fall back into the non-r18 mode but can continue without problems, safe and pick the new safe up in r18 without problems.

The Online Thing is cause of how the Panda Pass works
It works by checking your SPS ID and then it downloads the 18+ content in the backround

That is ok, but I would be happy if the game would keep the 18+ content around after downloading it. Maybe delete it, when there's an Update.
I get that they need a check against abuse, but if there's a regular check, while the game is active or whenever it's online I think it would be enough. The people who would stay online after not having the PandaPass anymore should be pretty low, the games are good but not that big of a deal for nearly anyone.
