Seems to be buggy

On windows keeps on crashing. Nothing happens when select levels (loading). Also squares during game play moves to bottom of screen and cannot be reset.

We checked it, all works. Tell us more about the problem. Give me some screenshots and AIDA64 report. I try to solve this bug, if it will be found.

"Select level" remains blank ie "just loading". The tiles "disappear" from the screen during game play. I have tried to show some screenshots. I don't have AIDA64. Is there a free option for reporting bugs please ? I probably won't be able to deal with a reply to this message for 24 hrs now. Thank you.

It seems that you haven't the "Data" folder in the main directory of the game. Create it manually or reinstall the game. Should look like this:

<Steam Install Directory>\steamapps\common\the_directed\_CommonRedist
<Steam Install Directory>\steamapps\common\the_directed\Data
<Steam Install Directory>\steamapps\common\the_directed\directed_Data
<Steam Install Directory>\steamapps\common\the_directed\directed.exe

Thank you. Not sure why that happened during installation. Should I just delete the game and re-install instead ? Also why do tiles "disappear" to bottom of screen during game-play please and cannot be retrieved?

Yes, you need to uninstall the game and reinstall it. Or just create a "Data" folder in the game folder. The camera moves up if the cursor is close to the upper border of the screen (the upper border of the window in the windowed mode), as in real-time strategies.

The "Data" folder was there and I also reinstalled the game. I am still having the same problems and later the game moved off the screen and I tried to retrrive it as you described above to no avail again. This also crashed my machine too! I could not find the crash report though in my folders although it was recorded. This might be because the Windows 10 I am running is on Parallels with a Mac and this configuration might ptresent programming errors. Thanks for looking into it though.

I am not sure why the issue of the game moving across the screen (and eventually off the screen) dictated by the mouse on a Mac has not been addressed yet please?

I do not think that it's in the mouse. I think the problem is that the game is running in Parallels desktop

Why should that be because other games run fine (with the mouse) ?
