all of the files in dko are original work but its got that feeling big time ,runes of magic has it lineage2 has it ( lc is a clone of lineage2 ) perfect world has it to and so does rappelz ,forsaken world and Loong
no DKOnline has nothing to do with lc or any of its files or devs not even the engine .
ive heard people say the char models in lc are identical to lineage but i say they are not .
just awesome work by a lot of devs
they start with super models and and motion capture them ... : )
you should download gamigo lc usa and look at it close its one of the very best worlds of all time .
don't insult last chaos by comparing it to this game lol.
last chaos is cheaper
Until i saw this game on steam, i had honestly never heard of it.. Immediatly it screamed last chaos.. Its just an observation. If yall dont like my opinion thats not really my problem.
With that said.. I have started playing. and i am noticing some major game play differences.. And honestly i enjoy them.. But the fact that the art immedialty scream last chaos and both being an Ariea Game it is pretty obvious they took the same stylistic approach for DK

The UI is different, the graphics are different. The only thing they may have in common is that they are both mediocre shallow garbage. I could barely stand playing the tutorial of DK Online. The game is so cheap and bad that I can't even laugh at it.
Also "Aeria" is spelled "AERIA", not "ARIEA".

Yes it looks different because they had 7 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ years of silence, but gonna have to gun you down, it is the same DK Online from Aeria Games in 2012, I know this because I HAVE PLAYED both versions.
Also.. my bad honestly i have trouble spelling.. which sucks because i develope games.. Thank god for IDEs
i understand from a second hand source that the devs had a falling out with the owners over ideas and direction ,the devs took their ideas and went on to create perfect world .
aeria had no idea what the devs had in mind for early player char models so they used them for npcs .
the game had no sky so supermanOX made the sky . the textures on the tilesets in merac are not part of the gmax tile sets and are in fact where the devs crashed all of their test cars and ( baked ) them into the tileset . merac is a masterpiece .
the guy that made the map of dratan was a genius . the vid mem to run it did not exist . but he knew it would in about a year .
type in games created with unreal and you will see last chaos on the list , the same for any other game in question .
i tested DKOnline at aeria i fought my butt off during closed apha open beta and live release .
last chaos was the very first online game i ever played .
This can't be true at all. Last Chaos is Korean and Perfect World is Chinese. Where/How did you come up with this misinformation?
