For those who are stuck :
The same issue occured on my computer (Windows 10 x64 - 8 Cores CPU - nVidia Graphic Card - Top Spin 2 CD Version)
(Although weird that it never happened on my old 4 Cores CPU Laptop... Maybe linked to the Windows version or CPU type...)
I've spent some time finding a solution, and according to my tests, the game doesn't seems to handle well too many CPU/Cores on some computers.
So... You have to set the CPU Affinity. (Tell the game which/how many CPU/Core to use)
Try to launch the game using this command line :
(You have to modify the path to the .exe file)
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "Top Spin 2.exe" /affinity 1 "X:\YOUR\PATH\TO\THE\GAME\Data\Top Spin 2.exe"
It should start the game on the first CPU/Core, and the game should run well, no more infinite loadings.
(There are good explanations on how to use this command on the web if you need to set more than one CPU/Core)
Oh, and don't forget to set you monitor/graphic card refresh rate to 60hz to avoid playing a super-fast tennis game
See you !
I'm also on Win 10 x64, 8 core CPU, Nvidia card.
Sorry, could you explain how to do this? witch file am i supposed to change?
