Not only is this the dev that made a game that got really poor reviews, and would have actually gotten descent reviews if they would have actually put out a couple of updates addressing the issue but instead abandoned it, but if you look closesly at the screenshots he names his "University" "My Awesome High School".... Does the dev even know what hes making? I immediatly got excited because I have been wanting "University Tycoon" type of game but the more I looked into it the more disappointed I got. I am not saying it will be bad, I might check it out but I don't have high hopes.
I noticed the same thing. Does the dev. know that the head of a University isn't a "principal"? Or is this going to be the University of Third Grade?
People don't buy this garbage.
The Steam page says "Become the principal of your very own university!"
Universities don't have principals - high schools and grade schools do.
Universities have presidents, chancellors, deans, ...
it came out july 31 and now its august 8 and no updates and no sign of life from the dev
i gave up on this game and gonna remove it from my wishist and focus my money on this game
https://store.steampowered.com/app/808160/UniverCity/
comes out august 14
1) Half-baked: Devs aren't sure what game this is meant to be as it's called "University Tycoon: 2019" but later you see its called "Resort Tycoon" (add to cart to see what I mean). Hmmm...
2) Unfocused: The devs, Drynwyn Games, seem to be working on this and City Blocks too. This is months away from being anywhere near finished. Perhaps finish this off before starting a new game? Hmmmmmm....
3) Uncommitted: Devs released a game called Valknut in December 2017 which is critically reviled. How about redeeming that steaming pile of game before starting a new project of mediocrity? Hmmhmhmmmmm......
Developer's track record speaks for itself.
Caveat emptor!
