Mac version campaign stuck at Loading

I’m using build 13715519 on an M4 MacBook Pro. I was hosting a multiplayer session with someone playing on the Switch. He retired a character and unlocked the Quartermaster, but when we went to go create a new merc for him, Quartermaster wasn’t in the list of options.

So I quit the program and re-opened it. Now when I try to load our campaign, it’s stuck on the Loading… screen.

Is there a way to rescue this save? I’m on a Mac so I’m not sure how many of the other help tips in this forum will help.

Having the same issue on an M1 Macbook.
Did the tutorials, after that wanted to start the campaign mode. Have not been able to play after that.

Now the game starts, goes to loading screen. The screen freezes. Have to shut it down manually through Steam or Stopping the app.

Any solutions to this?
