Two Angry Face Bugs
I found a couple bugs related to the Angry Face - both seem to be Doom related.

Firstly, I had Frightening Curse trigger after a non-doomed enemy died. They were previously doomed, but I had set up a new doom on a different enemy - it seems like they're still being flagged as 'doomed' under the hood somewhere.

Secondly, it seems 'on death' doom's (Felling Swoop, Detonation) aren't triggering when the enemy dies from other sources (had it not trigger from traps and from wounds).

In regards of the first, we had the same issue.

Also we had it trigger, when there was no enemy in range of two, even though the card states, it should only trigger when another enemy is in range of 2.

Yes, that had happened to me too, I forgot to mention it. Thanks!

I have seen Frightening Curse trigger when there are no enemies within range very consistently. The effect triggers regardless of whether it should or not (based off the card text).

The game also seems to get very confused about where the 2-hex radius should be centered when Frightening Curse triggers for me. Often, it ends up centering on my player token. On one or two occasions, I have had it center on a different enemy. Without any proof, I believe what's happening is it's basing the center of the transfer range off the last enemy (or maybe just token) to take damage. Since I often have the top of Rain of Arrows running as well, the game asks me to target an enemy with Rain of Arrows first and I shoot something, which then becomes the center for Frightening Curse (though the targeted hex is an invalid space). If I kill the enemy I target with Rain of Arrows, I believe the curse transfer centers on the player token. I haven't tested any of this thoroughly though, and certainly haven't tested what happens if the enemy I attack with Rain of Arrows has retaliate, so I can only make these guesses based off assumptions of what I think I've seen.

I have the same problem: Detonation doesn't inflict 3 damage to surrounding enemies when the doomed monster dies...

Same here – Detonation 3dmg on death doesnt work. Still not fixed? I also had the passive buff "attack 2 when the doomed monster dies" so I thought maybe the buff cancelled the detonation effect somehow... But it probably doesnt work at all.

I came here to comment on Detonation for the Doomstalker as well. Hope it gets fixed, really a bummer when it didn't work.

Frightening Curse dont work for me after latest patch

Also saw detonation fail. Thought maybe a summon causing the death was responsible?

Just saw it work in a scenario after the Angry Face triggered it, after a summon failed to trigger detonate in the same scenario.

Detonation seems to be bugged still

Detonation definitely still bugged in this way. Had a scenario where I detonation doomed an enemy with 2 adjacent enemies. That enemy died and only did 3 damage to one of the two.

Just tried to Angry Face for the 1st time and what a disappointment. Detonation just doesn't work at all.

Initially I thought I had caused the issue as I had "Frightening Curse" Active and I suspected some strange interaction where I was moving the Doom and so it was not activating? As such i re-tried with no "Frightening Curse" and found that Detonation simply doesn't do its 3 damage to any adjacent enemies.

It ruins the Angry Face.

It looks like this bug has existed for a very long time - can any Dev provide some feedback here at all? I do not wish to install discord to my system.

Um, really? He's still one of the best damage dealers in the game. This bug just messes with one of his cards, and not even one of his best cards.

I'm not saying they shouldn't fix it, because they should, but it hardly "ruins" him.

Playing it from lvl 1 in GM mode and not in a Campaign (whereby it is unlocked with a raised Gloomhaven level and therefore a raised staring lvl) and so playing with a lvl 1 deck - absolutely it does.

Well, that's one of the nice things about Gloomhaven. Lots of ways to play. I know I never used Detonate much at all. It seemed way too situational. Your target has to be adjacent to another target, and that still only gives you 3 damage unless it is adjacent to more targets. And it only applies on the turn the target is killed. Meanwhile something like Race To The Grave applies 2 damage every single turn, guaranteed.

But if you like Detonate, I'm not here to say you can't play the game the way you like to play it. So yeah, the bug needs fixing.
