This did not work for me and my friend on his switch, we could never get around the "different version" error while I ran the Mac Beta version. Anyone figure this one out?
This famous update I am repeating the word for way too much, announced on the 10th of November, is coming THIS WEEK.
And rolling out to PC, Mac, Xbox and PlayStation, thus bringing it to the same version as the Switch one - meaning cross-play should be working fine again.
so let's hope crossplay works still this week again.
A colleague (on MAC) and I (on PC) managed to complete a scenario a few weeks ago using the Mac_PC_BETA version but now we are facing the same problem of him not being able to connect after I invite him. Any suggestions? We tried going back to the original game and reloading the BETA version, but the problem persisted.
- I did not come up with any solutions, problem disappeared by itself
- Most likely the problem had something to do with the game updates, which were rolled out separately on PC and PS, and thus the game versions were different.
- I have not experienced this bug after the first day or two.
-I survived nnn.
