Seriously. This requires a fix otherwise it is impossible to play.
1. Navigate to the following folder in Windows Explorer:
%LocalAppData%low\FlamingFowlStudios\Gloomhaven
Create a backup of the GloomSaves and GloomSavesOpenBeta folders and then delete the originals.
2. Go into the games properties in Steam and turn off Cloud Saves under the general tab
3. Launch Gloomhaven
4. Exit the game and you can now recopy back the save folders and turn back on Cloud Saves.
It;s working for me too - but with step 4. I have to continue playing my game with local data saving.
If i'm returning to cloud saves, then starting gloomhaven again und use my re-copied "old" (just two weeks ago, omg) saves, there is a window-popup for a glimps-of-a-second (can't read anything) and the game is again in neverending loading screen.
So it seems that only local save is working for me (and nowon keep my saves with backup).
Maybe someone had the same experience...?
