It seems like you know, but to anyone ready this who doesn't, Gloomhaven uses corner-to-corner line of sight, so it doesn't matter if half of the hex has line of sight when the corners don't. This mainly affects when corners are on walls because they can't be used for starting, ending, or anywhere in-between.
If you run into the opposite (where you think there shouldn't be line of sight, but the game says there is), you can use the L key to see which lines the game thinks are okay.
Screenshot it.
Do it again. You know what hex you were working from, so do it again and show us.
