Desynchronization

I am trying to play cross-platform with me on a PC, and my brother on a PS5. We cannot do anything without getting a "desynchronization error", which triggers one person to be kicked out of the game. Start a city encounter --> error; Start a quest --> error; pick cards and start a turn --> error. It makes the game *literally* unplayable - as in, you cannot play multiplayer. Does anyone know a way around this?

Does anyone know what to do about this? Is it at all possible to play on PC and PlayStation together?

I believe it's a "right now" problem. The PC has been patched, but the same patch is waiting for Sony approval. So you're playing different versions that don't work together. I believe (if on steam) the PC player can switch to the previous version on the betas dropdown,
