Also the console thing...
In March of this year, Embracer Group bought Twin Sails and its parent company Asmodee Digital (ex-publisher of Gloomhaven).
Embracer Group also owns Saber Interactive, which was commissioned to make a port of the game on the consoles.
No You are not. Focus since then has been on console changes and the new devs have struggled to find the time and means to address PC/Mac based changes & Concerns.
Sad development for Flaming Fowl and for this games future.
Because for my PS5 or Xbox 1/s I would read: A great game not easily converted to my console platform that now has ruined the original title it was translated from.
Though if I were just a console gamer I would not give a flip about PC gamer's feelings on the issue, I would question loyalty of developers. I mean loyalty goes both ways, especially in monetary interaction between unseen parties.
So I would be highly unlikely to purchase the product for integrity reasons.
And a mixed review in my eyes would be taken as more towards mostly negative due to some marketing cover up. *Note I am unsure if developers are able to delete or suppress certain negative reviews as factual information, but in my conspiratorial mind I believe it is possible to an extent.
Well I guess congratulations are in order to the executive who saw more dollars signs in his/her eyes with consoles, because now he/she must imagine those dollars (euro's and other currencies) washing down the sink in front of his/her eyes.
Pretty much agreed on the console perspectives & for a bit more background this is not the first nor likely the last causality relating to Embracer Group due in no small part to a large deal falling through earlier this year.

Reckon it's gonna be a matter of resource constraints and managerial prioritization of the Dev's Workloads and time really.
