Not sure how many people would pay for it…
But yeah, main problem is the annoying amount of bugs this will bring, with every item-card interaction etc. Its like making the game again, and this team is not the fastest nor the best at that.
This want happen for free. IF done, Im 100% sure, or 120% sure wil be a complete new game or payed DLC at that cost. Like if they do Frosthaven for example.
No way that will be an update, 0% chance.
That being said, I don't expect the update it to happen any time soon, especially with some of the new mechanics they added in 2.
It may also be a completely new game where they name this one is changed to 'Gloomhaven: First Edition' and another one on steam labeled as 'Gloomhaven: Second Edition'.
TLDR: it is produced and delivered already.
