Help Completing The Fall of Man Personal Quest

Hi All,

I've been playing about once a week with my friends since the summer. All of them have unlocked new characters, some of them multiple. I'm still on the same character (Brute) from when we started. I've been level 9 for the past like 6 sessions and I'm sick of playing the character. I don't want to just retire him I want to complete my quest which is "The Fall of Man" where you have to complete 2 Scenarios in the Lingering Swamp. According to the internet those scenarios are the following:

19 Forgotten Crypt - Completed

32 Decrepit Woods - Locked because we completed 42 Realm of the Voice.

45 Rebel Swamp - Must complete scenario 35 Gloomhaven Battlements A but 35 is locked because we completed 21 Infernal Throne and 27 Ruinous Rift.

68 Toxic Moor - Is just a random scenario that unlocks if you complete another scenario where the reward is to unlock a random scenario.

79 Lost Temple - Unlocks by choosing the correct option on Road Event 10 then choosing the correct option on City Event 71 and then choosing the correct option on city event 72. We did not choose the correct option on City Event 71.

Am I just screwed here? Is there any way to unlock a scenario that has been locked? Will we ever get City Event 71 again so we can choose the correct option or do you only get that City Event once? It seems my only hope is to randomly complete a scenario and hope that scenarios reward is to randomly unlock 68 Toxic Moor.

If you chose the "wrong" response to City Event 71, the card is supposed to go to the bottom of the City Event deck for eventual reuse. If you chose the "correct" response (the one that adds a new event), then card 71 is destroyed.

So it should still be in your City Event deck. It goes in at the bottom, but the event deck is shuffled anytime a card is ADDED to the deck. So if any of the other character retirements generated a new event (for example), your deck should have shuffled.

It's the worst PQ, because you can get into the situation you're in. You might finish the campaign without ever being able to retire.

I'd suggest you start a new character. Bring the Brute back only when (if) you unlock a relevent scenario.
