Can someone explain advantage/disadvantage and rolling modifiers?
Sometimes when I target an enemy, there is a blinking purple icon of two crossed swords. Hovering over the icon, it says "Disadvantage". I don't even understand if this is a disadvantage to me? Or to the enemy? Appreciate some explanation!

If you are attacking, the disadvantage will be to you.

Common causes of Disadvantage:

Attacking character has the Muddled condition
Attacking character is making a ranged attack vs an enemy in an adjacent hex
There exist certain creatures where all attacks made against them are at disadvantage.

If you have Disadvantage when you make the attack, you draw 2 cards and apply the worst effect.

ok thanks, and what is a rolling modifier?

Rolling modifier allows you to draw another attack card and apply both. For example the first card is a Stun card with a rolling symbol. Then you draw a +0. Now you do the attack damage and Stun the enemy. You can draw multiple rolling cards in a row and apply multiple cards from the same attack. This happens often when your character reaches high levels and has a bunch of perks.

Ah ok thanks, I am still level 1 so I probably didn't see this rolling modifier aspect of the game and was very confused when I read about it.
