Dlc are we getting some?

I have never owned board game, or heard of this game till I bought it on steam, now after looking it up a bit, there is some dlc.

Not sure of every extra this game has, I have seen two things for sure, I do not know if there are more. Other then frosthaven, but that is a total new game from what I understand.

First off how much dlc, or extras does gloomhaven have ? Again I really only saw two Jaws of the Lion, and another character, with maybe more missions, do not know really did not look at it that hard.

Second, is this game going to get those expansions, extra characters, missions and so on?

Just curious. I would buy them, not sure I need them, but I would still buy them.

As far as I know there are 2 potential DLC's in Jaws of the Lion & Forgotten Circles. I would definitely buy them as well if they choose to make them. However I have not yet heard of any plans for that... but I'm hopeful.

Yeah those were the two I saw, Jaws of the lion, and forgotten circles for this game, is that it? Other then frosthaven, which is another game but based on this.

Not sure who story is going to connect game, or just hey your all mercs, some people care about your story others don not. So we just play along that way.

Some things just make no sense in this game, not so much your a guy who only cares about his/herself. But hey if we work as a team, man we are so much better. But despite the amount of teamwork put to the test to win a mission.

You still have to think as each guy/girl. They only care about themselves, how could they not look at it, saying I am better for myself if I team up with this char, even for a bit, but do things for a bit, like sharing gold, I may not want to at first. But if I don't I will end up with less gold without , these guys/girls I now knows help.

Will ditch me as once they know thats the only thing I am after, despite fight after fight having each others back, its nah I really only thing I care about is gold.

Again srry for long post my thoughts on a day off.

Those two are basically new full campaigns and Forgotten Circles in particular has a lot of quirky rules so it would take years to create them - almost like a new game. So I doubt they will be released soon. New classes may be easier to implement though - I would love to play the Diviner or Envelope X in this digital version :)

So you do not think there will be dlc? I mean new campaigns, new rules, hard enough to get all the rules right here sometimes.

Thing is if they added new classes, well I am gusessing boardgame ppl, will be like that is not included in boardgame, who want 100%. The same board game on digital.

Me I do not care this game is hard enough, fun enough, sometimes my brain hurts, tyring to make perfect move. But I enjoy it. So dlc, like new chars would not ruin boardgame for me. Well as I have never played it

But they would have to be balanced, as much as you can. Balance, things where you suck at start, but just wait,, you will be a god, unless that guy retires, well now your back to good but not great.

I hope, before the guys that coded this game move on to new horizons, that they crank out the Diviner at least. I'd definitely take the Jaws classes as well, either as a package or individually. Take my money please :P

The actual Jaws campaign would be of interest, but not as much .... I'd much rather have the new classes than anything else.

There's solo missions too as a possible DLC.

There is also one class lacking form the basic box that need to get added as a DLC....

The class is not in the base box, so it will not be in the base game. IIRC, Isaac wants to keep it as a special Easter egg reward for physical players, and has requested it to not be added to digital.

Thats sad. I really wanted to try it out my group never got through all the stuff to unlock it before we disbanded.
