Is it possible to change the level of your mercenary to a lower one?
I'm playing in a party and one friend plays as the Brute, for example, up to level 9. Now let's say this friend change characters and I decide to try out the Brute. Is there a way for me to set the Brute to level 1 instead? I mean, it would be possible in the boardgame, just grab a new piece of paper and voila. But I don't know if it is/would be possible in the digital game. Sure would be a welcome feature!

Click on the mercenary to see their cards. On the upper right of the screen there'll be a button that shows you all the cards they didn't pick. Once you open that up, on the bottom right there'll be a button that will let you reset the mercenary, clearing all their perks and resetting them back down to level one.

This will clear out all their enhancements (although you'll be refunded, so you can just buy new ones again), and unequip all their items (although they'll still be bound to you, so you can just reequip). Be aware that you have to do both of those so you don't walk into your next scenario naked, though. And while you don't have to use everything available, you'll still have all your XP and perks earned through achievements and story missions. Clicking on the card button will cause you to level up, while clicking elsewhere on the merc's face will let you choose their cards like you normally would.

Oh, didn't know that! I will give it a look as soon as I can!

Also important to note that this is a Guildmaster exclusive and will not be present in the board game campaign mode. You should be free to make a new character of the same class, but you'd have to treat it as a brand new mercenary again rather than de-leveling a current one.

But, everything said above is accurate to Guildmaster mode.

Seeing how we only have the Guildmaster avaible right now, this is good enough for me. Maybe in the campaign mode I will miss this feature, but that's a future worry
