No solo scenario

Hi,
I just learned the solo scenarios aren't in game. Don't it hurt certain character whose solo scenario item rewards were central to the character play ?

I would say yes and no. Some solo items are really useful and for some class archetypes (ie card choices) needed for their full potential. Some solo items I actually just sold as higher prosperity items was more useful. But Solo scenarios should absolutely be in a full release which *ahem* they are not.

The Developers were contracted to deliver the thing that is the Gloomhaven box. The Solo Scenarios aren't in that box, so not in a full release. They're the physical equivalent of DLC

Would make sense to see them as DLC sometime down the line

Since JotL has been announced, I would expect the next minor DLC after that would be either Forgotten Circles or the Solo Scenarios.

Having played hundreds of hours with Digital and never having played tabletop, I fail to understand how "central" these missing items are. Yes, I've seen some of them via the internet, and a few of them look like they would be really helpful to certain characters, but it's not like the characters need much in the way of gear. For most of them the most effective gear they can have is anything that gives back discarded cards,

Hmm I have used Music Note extensively on Digital without their solo item. (they were fantastic)

I am replaying now with the DLC, so looking forward to all the new content.

Necromancers are indeed afoot. And music note is gamebreakingly overpowered even without the solo item. To such a degree that every group I've played with has eventually banned it, because it completely trivializes the game. Apologies to anyone that has trouble finding a way to use that merc, but that is a skill issue.
