That is normal, games in early release often are discounted, but I guess the last 18 months while it was available on steam was not a factor.

Well, it wasn't mentioned in the latest news. Yea some people are cheaper during the EA, some not.

Well, I guess there will be 22 euros I won't spend :) But this was a poor communication from the developer.

Don't worry, just wait and see. I'm not buying until we know the campaign is fully implemented and bug free. By that time there'll likely be plenty of ways to get it with a discount.

There is no specific situation. I'm was a possible buyer. I knew that the game was coming out today. Checked the page. Checked the last 2 news. Saw nothing that displayed a price increase... and waited for the launch.

it is sort a bummer... i convinced three of my mates to play the campaign with me and told them to wait since in a lot of cases you get a release discount of 10%. well, shouldave checked the store page in detail then...

The thing is that it was communicated well. You just didn't bother and try to blame others for your mistakes. Just suck it up.
