gain 1 enhancement slot?

Ok, so I unlocked the goal for adding an enhancement slot but dont know how to do it. Is it unlocked on all cards, do I need to pick the card? I have no doubt I missed something.

You have to unlock the enchantress. Then you can click on that icon on the bottom of the map screen and enhance a merc's card.

I know how to enchant, I have her unlocked and have enchanted but I'm talking about the goals where it say something like "unlock/add enhancement slot" Sorry, cannot recall the wording correctly. I'm wondering what those do, are they a free enchant and if so, did I miss my opp to do it?

All those cards that have black spots on the cards? Those are enhancement slots. You can add literally anything in the game to them too (move has to go to move and attack to attack but otherwise). That's what all those tasks are that unlock Wound or each element are for. So, you may want to wait on enhancing a card if it would be helpful to get a specific one later on.

But yeah, click on the enchantress, click on the character whose card you want to enhance, it defaults to the top half so click the bottom part if you want, and it'll list every possible enhancement you can use and have unlocked. Each card has a certain number of pips/circles on them when you look at them in the enchantress which denotes how many times you can enhance them.

As I stated in my last post, I know how to enhant and I have already done it. I am talking about the GOALS in the TRAINER section that reads ADD 1 ENHANCEMENT SLOT. What does that actually do? Does it add an extra slot to all the cards? Does it allow me to pick a slot to upgrade for free, if it does did I have to do it at the time of completing that goal?

Are you talking about the reward being an enhancement slot? I'm pretty sure you are. Enhancement slots are what let you put enchantments on your cards. If you had no enhancement slots left (but lots of cards with spots for enhancements), you wouldn't be able to enchant anything.

I hope this help. in the TRAINER section there are goals that when you complete them they say GAIN 1 ENHANCEMENT SLOT. The two that have done so far are The Spice Coast and The Eastern Forest. Now my very simple question is, what does GAIN 1 ENHANCEMENT do?

I have the enchantress unlocked and already enhanced a card so I'm ok with that part, I just want to know what GAIN 1 ENHANCEMENT actually does.

Right. As I was saying, the reward is that you get one more enhancement slot. So (if you could afford it), you'd be able to place one more enhancement on a card. You are limited in the number you get.

Guildmaster limits the number of enhancements you can make to a character (similar to how prosperity limits the number of enhanced cards in the board game). I'm afraid I'm not sure what the initial limit is; it may well be just 1. The reward increases that limit.

It starts at 0, but once you complete the infuse all 6 elements I believe it unlocks 1 slot as well as the Enchantress.
Other enhancement slots are unlocked by completing the story missions (Chapters), or killing bosses.
