Known bug & workaround - Corrupted saves and other saves issues
Salutations fellow mercenaries,

We are well aware that many of you encounter issues regarding their save files and care to let you know the team is currently working on it to find and implement a fix.
This is a known issue caused by the ever and greatly changing state of Gloomhaven, where if you do not play the game for a few patches, your save files can fall behind the game data and become corrupted.

In the meantime, here are 2 potential workarounds to help you deal with this issue.

The first one:
  • Go to C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\FlamingFowlStudios\Gloomhaven\GloomSaves\Guildmaster\Guildmaster_PartyName
    => /!\ AppData being a hidden folder, make sure to reveal it /!\
  • This is the file that is loaded: {連結已移除}
  • You want to replace that file with a checkpoint from the Checkpoints/ScenarioCheckpoints folder
  • Make sure you rename the checkpoint to be the exact same as the original file
    => Scenario checkpoints are back-up saves of your guildmaster adventure that are created after finishing a mission

If this doesn't work, there is another workaround that usually works but will delete all of your save files:
  • Remove all data from the following folder to be able to launch the game again without issue: C:\Users\You\AppData\LocalLow\FlamingFowlStudios\Gloomhaven
    => /!\ AppData being a hidden folder, make sure to reveal it /!\
  • Please be sure to disable cloud saves before booting the game after deleting your save files, as this may restore the corrupt save files again.
  • Do note that this will cause you to lose all save data you had previously accumulated, but please note that there is no way for us to recover what has been lost already.

In Harrower Hive side scenarion many problems with line-of-sight cause of artificial walls. For example, you can kill middle wall in the first room and see no other rooms, Also the L key shows that there is LoS but you can't attack target.

When you have two minis with you, Toxic Moor crashes every time at the beginning of the bear's turn. Currently can't get through the scenario because of it.

This seems to be the bug-report thread:
Thief's Hood Item doesn't activate when the Loot 1 action doesn't have any target gold piles or chests. The Loot action then resolves without any prompts.

Also scenario book says "character summons will not attack walls unless directly controlled by a character" but they do attack them automaticaly.

Minor annoyance - after completing the Temple of the Eclipse scenario successfully, both characters who held the artifacts (the Crystal and the Sphere that can damage the Colourless) now have an "exclamation mark" in their inventory icons in the campaign view (out of scenario).

Some clarification needed for the quest Chained Isle regarding Beast Tyrant. Map description says that when a player finishes off a demon he can remove one Living spirit from the map. However, when I finished off demons with the Bear's attack (I mean, using Command cards, not just "beginning of the turn" attack), I was not allowed to remove a Living spirit. Is it intended or is it a bug?

I noticed this too, to be fair it does say "player" so I assumed intentional.

Same bug here.

Another bug with Crypt of the Damned scenario. Character gained Ring of Skulls but it didn't appear in his inventory (it was same character with exclamation mark after Colourless battle). But now merchant can sell it to me and mark is gone. I will blame thievish Vermlings for this outrage.

Game is difficult as it is and disappearing artifacts isn't helping (

The Beast Tyrant's loot card does work on ornate chests (Soaring Ally, level x, initiative 77). It's a bottom action loot command for the bear. It works on gold piles but not on ornate chests. I was relying on it to finish a quest, but it not working was mission ending.

Maybe I made a mistake and in Crypt of the Damned scenario I found not the ring itself but a ring design and clicked next too fast. Didn't know this game had "designs" for items.

I have come across 2 bugs recently that prevented my friends and I from completing the scenarios listed. The first was Forgotten Crypt "Seal off the plane of Elemental Power". It is a protect Hail mission, but she would not move for many many turns. And when she finally started going we were getting surrounded by monsters and again she would not move, even though she did have room to move. It ended in us opening doors and having creatures spawn behind us and kill Hail. Out of the 8 or 9 turns we did complete, Hail moved only twice. On turn 4 then on turn 5, and then never moved again.

The second was Gloomhaven Battlements B "Fight against evil" . This one was protect the door for 8 turns. Which we did but the Prime demon never came, we ended the scenario on turn 15 after pure exhaustion with the door on 2 HP, but no sign of the big bad nor the door getting destroyed at the end of turn 8. Again it resulted in another failure.

EDIT: Just done it again and it seemed to jump 2 turns. It was at the end of turn 8 when the prime demon was meant to come out and it skipped to turn 10.......not sure how or why....and it bugged once again. Unable to finish this scenario. ......

Second EDIT: Once again attempted this with my 3 friends and once again it bugged. But once it jumped again from turn 8 to 10, we let the enemy kill the door, but the archers kept shooting and killing them so on turn 14 it finally broke, the boss spawned and immediately died and we completed the scenario. A very bugged mission overall.

Don't stand right in front of the pump. ONce adjacent, click the symbol in center bottom of you screen and then select the hex of the pump, confirm.

Hello. I just completed the scenario Icecrag ascent (#25) and one of the two scenarios that should have been unlocked didn't: the scorching summit (#34).

The only requirements for #34 is to have "the drake command" achievement completed, which is achieved by completing #25, and having "the drake aided" incomplete - which I didn't. So #34 should have been unlocked.

I suspect that completing savvas armory, #33, wrongly grants the party the achievement "the drake aided" and thus blocking the unlock of scorching summit.

Doomed Compass item is giving error in multiplayer to the client player, when host is selecting it. This happens for us in every scenario, client has to re-join in card selection phase.
