It's incredibly sad that you go to such great length to avoid paying the people that make the things you enjoy. Whenever you see a game that could have been good, but had to release too early or didn't get enough updates, remember that you are the cause.
I got it because I really like the tabletop game. I'm even strongly considering buying a copy for a friend before the price hike. But let's be honest, 25 is pretty steep for a digital-only game.
It would be sad if I actually had faith in the fact that I *will* enjoy the content. Given the current state of gaming, and my current trend of being bored with games after like an hour or less, it's just not worth it to pay full price.
I wish all games would be worth while like Atomicrops and Wizard of Legend, but it just doesn't work out that way the majority of the time. I became pretty deadset on not paying full price around when Anthem went sideways.
Of course there will be sales in the future, but by buying it now you are getting $10 USD off the retail price. Not sure if sales will beat that by much.
That sounds like a You problem, not a problem with the industry.
Are you destined to enjoy every single game you try? No. But it sounds to me like you simply havent tried the good ones - or you have a crappy taste in games to be so often let down by them.
But just to reiterate what others have said - The developer has made it clear this will cost more on release day. What you do with the information is really up to you
Not at all, you will continue to own the game upon release.
Ah yes, the game where you fly around a jungle in an ironman suit being bad is a me problem XD
Anyway Riftbreaker is out and I bought that so....
I dont understand what your point is
