Dr. Doolittle Perk - dumb question?

I notice that despite using the move +1, attack+1 card and added attack poison wound card, my summoner is still 0 for 30 for buffing summoned characters. What cards SHOULD I be using for this perk?

You have cards that shield and strengthen, try those maybe? I say maybe because i'm also at 0/30 and was wondering last night. I'm not using those 2 cards either.

It's probably applying a buff to a character. Hence, strengthening them. That would be my guess.

Interesting. There is one card with Strengthen that I passed over. I'll check it out tomorrow.

The buffs are shield, strengthen, and bless. I'm not sure about raising their attack or movement.
