Game stuck loading
I just got the opportunity since the patch to play tonight and the game is stuck on the loading screen. I mean the tips keep scrolling by, and that's cool and all.. but. I'd like to play the game. I tried rebooting everything. I uninstalled, reinstalled. I have been waiting for almost 40 minutes now. Whatever is loading better be great.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Brescol, I have had exactly the same problem for the last two days, uninstalled, reinstalled, with no luck.

I could play on a laptop using the cloud save but couldn't get past the loading screen (with the scrolling screen tips) on my other computer.

I ended up uninstalling then deleting the entire Gloomhaven settings folder (that isn't removed when you uninstall) Users/username/Appdata/LocalLow/FlamingFowlStudios/Gloomhaven and then reinstalling.

I then loaded from the Cloud (so if you don't have the save on the Cloud make sure you back it up) and everything is back to normal.

Same issue here. Please fix this.
I have the same problem, have tried most of the above fixes. I don't have time for this!

Same problem. Tried uninstalling and deleting all files, stuck on initial loading screen.

It would be very helpful if some of you could log a bug on trello including the log files so we can look into the issue.

Please read these instructions for submitting a bug report:
1. Take a screenshot - make sure to include the build number
2. Exit to the main menu or quit the game at the time of the bug before the round ends.
3. Grab save files & log files
4. Open Trello and write a bug report

Saves are located:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\FlamingFowlStudios\Gloomhaven\GloomSaves\Guildmaster\Guildmaster_PartyName
Zip this entire folder if possible.

Logs need to be copied before the next time you run the game but preferably at the time of bug. They are found at:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\LocalLow\FlamingFowlStudios\Gloomhaven\
Please include all the .log files found here. There are 4 files.

If on multiplayer, add your bug report to the new issues multiplayer column. Otherwise, add to new issues.

Thank you Brynnvincible. I logged on to the Trello and found someone with my similar issue. I tried a workaround solution there and I was able to get the game to start up again.
For those who are having similar issues... let me copy the workaround you only have to do once.

Absolute life-saver. This fixed it for me too.

I've just bought the game and this is happening for me. Tried running as admin and it still freezes on the loading screen

The folks above have played before. Your issue is likely not theirs.

Have you tried waiting? It takes a long time to start first time, and crashes if you touch anything. Don't touch anything.
