How is the game's replay value right now?
I'm thinking of getting the game at the moment, but I heard that the game is really repetitive at the later stage of the game and there isn't much replay value.

Anyone who played or is playing the game able to comment on this?

If you expect to get 200 hours out of it before running out of content, then yeah, you might find it repetitive. Of course, it depends on how long it takes you to get there. If it takes you six months, there will likely be new content by then.

hey, the content is pretty ok. But yea at the moment its repetitive plus leveling goes a lot slower because you don't get any extra xp missions anymore.

Still waitting for more classes and more content. Hopefully the main campaign like the actual boardgame gets added. Probably this will be released before the frosthaven release.

Hey xRainZx; I have like 370+ hours into gameplay. I seen the very beginning from the early beta until now. The game is solid at stage. Is it exactly like the board game version; NO. However this is most likely due to physical game mechanics mirrored in electronic form. It is very close and I look forward to full release and absolutely recommend Gloomhaven. Keep in mind that it still needs some tweaks but am very hopeful. Multiplayer makes it fun and adds the X elements into game play because maybe your buddy just wants all the loot...lol. Very much looking forward to full release.

266.1 hours so far (eeps I need a life!)

There's no story/plot really but you've got a solid engine for tactical battles and learning the classes. Lots of replay value, especially if you mix up your team a lot and try different builds and so on.

Also, if you play multiplayer (I haven't tried it yet) then you'd be looking at a ton of value, too.

Thanks for all the sweet replies, I'm definitely getting this game then. :)
High if you're like me and want to beat everything. Personally I think the game is EFFING hard. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I just can't win.

I'm currently playing with a friend, using 2 brains to plan how to tackle the missions is always better :v
