Bottom half of Brute's Sweeping Blow card seems broken...
It's supposed to be Move 3 then Push 1, targeting all adjacent enemies but I have never had it give me the push option. It simply discards after moving.

it works for me if I end his movement next to one or more enemies

Can push work in any direction or does it have to be in a straight line? Seems like there are restrictions to it maybe?

Push must be each hexagon further from you (not needed straight line). So if you got Push2, you may move him 2 hexagons, each time moving further from you. Also, if you got push3 and you decide to push, you have to push all 3 hexagons if possible, cant stop at 1 unless forced to do it (no further hexagons available for example), so you always push for the entire number or chose to not push at all.

Thank you for this explanation as this makes total sense. The reason it wasn't giving me the confirm action prompt for the push was because the only direction I could push the enemy would result in it still being adjacent to me.

Man, there is a lot to keep straight in your head while playing this game.

Yeah, and you will discover more and more when you fight new monsters, and play more character classes (will be implemented progresively, now there are six I suppose).

If you are interested you can also google gloomhaven rulebook pdf, which are the rules of the boardgame, just in case you got more questions about how this or that works exactly (movement, push/pull, poison/wound, etc, etc). Or keep asking when you got some questions or need advice, community looks helpful here in this game.

It is, but their is something very satisfying about using a pull/push to shove enemies into traps you need removed. Taking care of 2 issues in one move. Unless you are like me and end up pulling a x2 on the damage before the push resulting in just a dead enemy. xD

I have had that happen! lol

Is anyone having trouble getting push to go off? I moved the Brute next to the elite skeleton thingy, hit the push, chose a waypoint on the trap, but it would never unblock CONFIRM PUSH. I thought I was doing it wrong, so I left and started over. Same thing happened in another place. In the tutorial, the push didn;t have to be straight, only AWAY from me. Does it HAVE to be in the opposite direction, or is the game broken?

As long as I'm here, pull stops as soon as they're adjacent, right? You can't pull adjacent and then move them again (if you have more pull) to another adjacent space?

Correct, each hex pulled to needs to be closer to you, so once adjacent the monster can't get any closer. On your push, was it a push 1 or more? If more, you need to push the whole distance before confirm action is displayed.

Will try again sometime if I feel like playing a cardgame slowly. This highlights my frustration with this inconsistent interface. For a walk 2, if I stop early, I choose to SKIP MOVEMENT. For the same process with a push 3, shouldn't there be a SKIP MOVEMENT? It's like in the tutorial when half the [move on] steps required you to CONTINUE but the other half required an action. Every time they changed over, it upset my sense of how to teach mechanics.
