How do you remove a party member

Just got through the tutorial and was looking at the characters. Started with Brute and Scoundrel in the first two slots. Added the Spellweaver to the third slot and now I can't remove her. I don't see a way to take her out of the party...

Am I missing something?

After the end of the Intro Stories (6 mercenaries) you can manage the party thanks to the first of the four buttons appearing to the right of the mercenary image. But it is impossible to swip during a trip.

You click on the same person that is in the slot on the right and it says remove member I think that's what you mean

I cannot remove the third or fourth party member. How do you do it?

The same way. Open the mercenary selection menu on the character you want to remove and then select that character.

So say the brute is the character you want to remove. Go to the brute, and click the character icon. Then on the menu of mercenaries, select the brute.

It is not intuitive!
In character selection select the class icon (first icon from top), then from the character menu when you hover over the character already present in that slot you will get a remove character option.

HI, I just see a DELETE CHARACTER button... However, this option would completely delete the character from the game!
Where is the REMOVE option, instead? I just want to remove temporarily the character from the next scenarios.
I'm playing in Campaign mode (not multiplayer).

Click on the character icon (top button of the 4 buttons next to the character). It presents you with a screen that would let you swap characters in and out. Select the same character again and it should take them out of the party
