More Forgiving Undo
This game is missing a more forgiving undo option. While I can understand not allowing any undo action once (for instance) combat cards are drawn, the game would benefit immensely from allowing an undo on, for example, movement.

When playing the board game, for example, it is possible to position easily for (say) the Tinkerer's flamethrower and it's just easy. In this, however, it is entirely possible to mis-click or mis-judge the move by a single hex and end up having to throw the entire game.

It's frustrating, but not in a good way. It feels like fighting the interface, not playing the game.

Being able to go back and hit 'undo' to be able to better position a move or similar would elevate the game. Hugely.

I would ideally request that ALL card actions be undo-able on a single character's turn until and unless the action they perform prompts an additional card draw (e.g. combat) or they mark their turn as complete.

U can actually click esc-go to main menu and reload ur last save, because the game make autosaves at the beginning of each round, so u can not only undo movements, but select another cards.
I agree with op. I've had to quit a few times after either misclicking or needing to just simply undo one movement space like I normally could but cannot because the interface won't allow it.
Im particularly susebtible to f up when i want to just use a basic 2 move action, and i distractly pick the card i wanted to use the top for.
Agreed, SrCalavera94. I do that too. I think that in general a more forgiving undo, specifically on move actions, could be a good thing. I would draw the line any time new information is revealed, like a new room or attack modifier card.

Thank you for your feedback, dear mercenaries!
I'll forward your suggestion to the dedicated team. 🗡️

Agreed on this! Esp. since I'm new to this game, it's terrible when I've chosen an option only to realize that my attack isn't in range, or that a "trap" isn't an "obstacle" for purposes of my Cragheart's ability. I've wasted several actions on silly mistakes that an undo button would have fixed. I agree with the OP that once something is revealed or drawn, that should lock. But picking my actions or cards, or undoing a move, should be allowed.
I also agree and note when you are color blind some of the dungeons are very hard to see clearly, primarily the forest dungeons.
Agreed on this, look at Panzer Corps 2, they have configurable undo steps. But just being able to undo EVERY action is a must, in the boardgame you undo stuff all the time because you missed something.
+1 it should be in the player's responsibility to decide if he wants to undo things based on certain circumstances. You can do that in the board game at any time...:cwat:
+1 for Stone's recomendation of customisable undo-rules. (As you would have rather naturally in a boardgame anyway)
This allows every player to choose to his own liking, how much he can reverse!
I agree this would be very nice. I definitely had those "woops!" moments. Sometimes I just briefly forgot something (e.g. applying the using of infused elements) or just clicking wrong.
