How to invite friends for online?

Sorry I have no idea on how to invite friends for an online session.

Hey! You should be able to host an online match where your friends can connect via the server browser. Otherwise, host an online match and use the Steam overlay (Shift + Tab by default) and right click their names and invite them to game. :)

Thanks! I did tried steam overlay. Didn't see the invite on there either.
