Solution for 3D acceleration not working.
So, I had the problem like some other people with the 3D acceleration not working, the game claimed my computer couldn't handle it despite being having a top graphics card.

I checked dxdiag and it said directdraw was disabled, but in 64 bit mode it said enabled.

If anyone else has the same problem, go to reg edit and fid this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\DirectDraw

and change the value EmulationOnly to 0

My HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\DirectDraw doesn't have any values, just two sub-keys Compatibility and MostRecentApplication...

Well, I'm not sure what you can do about that then, I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, might be different on different versions. Did you check it's not in one of those sub keys?

I have Windows 8.1 64 bit, it's not in the sub keys. Oh well :\

If you have an nvidia geforce card, downgrade your driver. That's a problem with the newest drivers. You can google how you can downgrade your driver. For me it works.

For me as soon as I upgraded my monitor, (I now have a 1080p resolution), my Bejewled 3 started working like normal again.
