Bejeweled 3 not opening in Win 11

Ever since i "upgraded" to win 11 the game wont open. There have been no error msgs, it just won't open. I launch the program and it starts but the game never initialises.

Any thoughts???

I apologize for not being any more helpful, but I just wanted to share that the game is working for my wife and I on Windows 11. I'd recommend uninstalling the game and manually deleting the folder. Hope this helps.

THE ONLY THING i CAN SAY IS RUN, BEJEWELED ICE STORM IS THE WORST i'VE EVER SEEN. tHEY MAKE A POINT TO BEAT YOU UP AND THEY ARE NOT BENEATH CHEATING, GAMES USED TO BE FUN BUT WITH THESE NEW APES MAKING THEM THE ASTEROID COULDNT BE BIG ENOUGH FOR ME TO WIPE OUT THIS PLANET

I have no problem with W11, only one dat i can't start the game in the bigger resolution and better quality.

I am having the same problem that it acts like it will open and run but it just closes instead. Anyone find a solution? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling many times and it hasn't made a difference. I can play other games through Steam.

Is there a 'compatibility' mode for apps? like there used to be years ago? RMB on desktop app.

I was able to get it working by either unplugging my second monitor or setting windows to extend display mode. and also by setting my scaling to 100%
my display is also set to 1920x1080 in case that help
also this seems to work on most older pop cap games on steam

search it up on google, for both my mom's windows 11 and my windows 10 you had to download a fix from the internet
