Can't play on fullscreen
Whenever I launch Bejeweled 3, it always shows me a minimized screen. Whenever I try to activate it to a full screen, it doesn't work.

Any solutions?

I've figured it out. I changed the comparability to Windows 7

I figured it out. I right clicked on the game, went to properties, compadability, run compadability troubleshooter, when the settings didn't work I said they didn't and only selected the box that says it runs but doesn't display properly. It then tried another setting and displayed properly. I chose to save those settings.

This one also works for me!:steamhappy:
The above advice is total :dip: for me anyway (though they were sort of on the right track)

Here's the solution

Right-click the game's 'Bejeweled3.exe' file, select 'Properties', select the 'Compatibility' tab, select 'Disable fullscreen optimizations', select 'Apply', select 'Okay', start the game and see if fullscreen works now. No other changes or settings were necessary for me. This worked for me when the game's fullscreen stopped working after the first run.

Congratulations, that probably solved the issue.

I am running W10 on a nearly max-spec computer that runs Wallpaper Engine in the background, all on an ultrawide monitor.

The downside is if you have an ultrawide monitor like I do, this will stretch everything across it which I can personally tolerate but others may not (great game design devs :zaglol:). If you have a 'super ultrawide', I recommend running this on a smaller monitor, running it windowed, or giving up as it will likely be too stretched to tolerate.

doing the disable fullscreen optimatization still doesnt work. it just messes up the entire screen like always.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
