Right-click the game's 'Bejeweled3.exe' file, select 'Properties', select the 'Compatibility' tab, select 'Disable fullscreen optimizations', select 'Apply', select 'Okay', start the game and see if fullscreen works now. No other changes or settings were necessary for me. This worked for me when the game's fullscreen stopped working after the first run.
Congratulations, that probably solved the issue.
I am running W10 on a nearly max-spec computer that runs Wallpaper Engine in the background, all on an ultrawide monitor.
The downside is if you have an ultrawide monitor like I do, this will stretch everything across it which I can personally tolerate but others may not (great game design devs
